Trailman Denmark didn't start with Trailman.

Before I created the brand, I spent three years working with the Salomon Trail Tour.

Those years put me right in the middle of trail running. Races, runners, muddy shoes, long days outside, conversations before the start and tired faces crossing the finish line.

I wasn't looking at the trail world from the outside.

I was living it.

And I was watching.

I saw what made people come back weekend after weekend. It wasn't only about running fast or finishing a race. There was something else happening—the outdoors, the community, the challenge, the freedom and that feeling you get when you leave the road behind and disappear onto a trail.

At the same time, I was a creative person. Photography and visual storytelling were already a big part of how I saw the world.

So after three years with the Salomon Trail Tour, an idea began to form:

What if I could take everything I loved about this world and build something of my own?

Not another Salomon.

Something smaller. More personal. Danish.

That idea became Trailman Denmark.

I didn't start with a big investment, a large team or a perfect plan.

I started with what I knew.

Trail running.

People.

Photography.

Storytelling.

And a belief that there was room for a different kind of outdoor brand.

From there, I began building.

The name. The identity. The first products. The photographs. The website. The packaging. Suppliers. Customers. Events.

Some things worked.

Some things didn't.

And some things had to be built two or three times before they felt right.

But that became part of Trailman too.

Because a trail rarely takes you in a straight line.

And neither does building a company.

Trailman Denmark grew out of those years on the trails, but eventually it became my own journey.

I went from helping tell someone else's trail-running story to creating my own.

This is the story of how I built Trailman Denmark.
